CASTING INFORMATION:
There are potentially three casts for THE WIZARD OF OZ - Cast A, Cast B & Junior Cast.
TRYPS makes every effort to cast every child who auditions for our Mainstage Productions.
We do not pre-cast roles or play favorites. Actors are cast on the strength of their audition alone.
We consider acting skill, type for the role, chemistry between actors, height and size for shared costumes.
We make every effort to cast siblings in the same production ensemble.
We consider - for each role - where each actor will have the greatest opportunity for growth as a performer and a person.
If you come to the auditions, we assume that you will accept any role in any cast.
Of course, we will take your conflicts, casting siblings, and availability into consideration.
We will not make changes in the cast list, move actors from one cast to another, or change roles for actors once the cast list is posted.
Please support your child and TRYPS by respecting the casting decisions.
REHEARSAL & TUITION:
JUNIOR - (Tuition: $175)
• For intermediate actors and advanced actors ready for the full production - but have no role for them in Cast A or Cast B.
• Students will perform the entire script.
• This cast affords young actors with the opportunity to perform in larger roles.
• There are 15 four-hour rehearsals Monday-Friday, July 7-25 for this cast.
• Actors will perform the entire play in costume in the theater for the public at a half-priced ticket
performance on Saturday, July 26 at 10AM.
• TRYPS does not offer a photo CD, Boster Poster, custom-made costume for this ensemble.
CAST A & CAST B - (Tuition: $225)

• Please be sure to mark ALL conflicts on the calendar due at the audition workshop.
• Attending rehearsals is not optional. Actors are making a commitment to be at all rehearsals.
